Know Something?

Is there something that particularly helps your ebook writing? An ebook site you love to refer to? An ebook blog you visit all the time? A piece of software that you wouldn't be without?

If you think it will help other potential ebook authors then please let me know. Just drop me a note and I'll look into it.

New Novelist softwareIf you think this software is just for the "New Novelist" then think again.

If novel writing is your particular ebook passion then this is definitely a tool you should consider. It's not what I do (although I'd like to some day) but that doesn't mean it's not applicable.

Most ebook writers I know - and I know a few - are quite a disorganized bunch and putting together an ebook actually takes quite a bit of organizing. You don't necessarily write in chronological order. Often ideas pop into your head and you just need to jot them down. Sometimes you need to flesh out an idea a bit...

Keeping a lot of diverse ideas together as a cogerent whole is where this software excels. It has the backing of the English educational establishment and though personally I don't think you need a great education to write a great ebook, it's not a bad recommendation!

Top software like this might be expected to cost you at least a couple of hundred dollars. Not so. Check out the details here.

ClickbankIf your ebooks are instructional or educational - in other words "how to" ebooks - then whatever the subject you'll definitely want to check out Clickbank.com.

In a nutshell Clickbank handle transaction processing - in other words your customers' credit cards or Paypal payments. Trust me, this is something you really do want to outsource. Once a fortnight they'll send you a check or pay direct into your bank account. You'll get notification of each sale and comprehensive stats.

They also have a huge network of affiliates, any of who might choose to promote your ebook. If that happens you could see an explosive, exponential growth in sales.

It's a simple system to use but there are quite a few options so they're best explained at the Clickbank site. Suffice it to say I've used Clickbank for the last five years and I can't imagine operating my business without them.
